Liege Airport (LGG), Europe’s fifth-largest cargo hub, is developing CargoLand, a €500 million project to be completed by 2040. The goal is to position LGG among Europe’s top three cargo airports through digitalization, advanced equipment, multimodal connectivity, and sustainability. CargoLand will span 90 hectares for logistics and 24 hectares for offices, including a first-line warehouse, an e-commerce hub, and a landside facility. It will also feature GSE parking stands and an MRO hangar. Located within a one-day truck drive of 75% of Europe’s GDP, LGG offers strong connectivity. CargoLand supports key sectors such as perishables, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, outsize cargo, and live animals, bringing stakeholders together to streamline the supply chain.
