Advanced Display Consulting (AFPD Consulting) was established December 2003 to promote the industrialization of emerging display technologies, leveraging the accumulated experience, knowledge, and relationships within the FPD manufactruing industry of its founder, Clay Shepherd. North American & European start-up companies new technologies are typicallt supported through local strategic partnering and a local presence in Asia, with focus on advanced, next-generation manufacturing technologies, including devices, materials, and fabrication processes. Consulting services include display market research & analysis to identify or quantify material opportunities, application specific opportunity analyses and recommendations, display manufacturing industry/ supply chain analyses, device level analyses, cost modeling and material pricing assessments. In addition, local support of sales and business local development processes in Asia are provided, to identify or introduce development organizations for sales or partnering, with the goal of creating a virtual presence and further option and industrialization of technology offerings through mproved partnering process through effective interaction with customers
