Krishnapatnam Port is a Greenfield all weather port on the East coast of India. It is developed on a land area of 6,500 acres offering facilities, state-of-art infrastructure and superior connectivity by rail and road to all parts of India. It has port based covered storage area and is well equipped to handle General, Containers, Dry bulk, Liquid, ODC and Agri Commodities. Its integrated container terminal (KPCT) is developed over 37.5 hectares having a current capacity of 1.2 Mn TEUs which when fully completed will have a draft of 21 mtrs and an annual capacity of 6 Mn TEUs.
