Freight Traders was formed in 1983 to provide forwarding consultancy and freight analysis options to companies importing and exporting to and from New Zealand. Since then, it has expanded into a comprehensive worldwide network of import, export and project freight operations, represented throughout the world and resourced to ensure the complete freight and customs package meets client service requirements. The company specialises in the co-ordination of projects and door-to-door logistic management for companies undertaking everything from construction projects to global manufacturing, storage and distribution. It also has substantial expertise in regulatory and statutory matters, including Customs and Excise, and knowledge of trade agreements such as CER, NAFTA and GATT. Freight Traders maintains effective Quality Systems in conformance with ISO 9001:2015.
