Wells Cargo is a 100% Irish-owned company established in Ireland in 1985. Originally owned by Vincent Mc Geeney as Wells Cargo Express Parcels Ltd, the trade was transferred to Wells Cargo Logistics Limited in December 2006, and Tom Thornton acquired the company in February 2007. Wells Cargo provides Road Freight, Sea Freight and Courier Services, offering a full range of services to Irish and International companies, from parcels requiring express transit to pallets, part loads and full loads. Its activities have expanded to include Italy, Spain, Portugal, Czech, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Poland, as well as China and the USA. The company also serves as a courier to the Irish Film Industry, where it is market leader.
